Chef Pedro Lopes

“This is a (above all) Portuguese cuisine, for sure”

“The taste for pots and pans dates back to childhood and the dishes i saw mom and grandma cook. The “pastéis de massa tenra” a kind of deep fried dumpling, the fried meat in the pot and the chicken fricasse that mom and grandma made in childhood – that magical place where memories bring smells and flavors – will never fall by the wayside. It is from this time that dates back to the beginning of the love for the cuisine of Pedro Lopes, executive chef at InterContinental Cascais-Estoril,”*

He arrived at InterContinental Cascais Estoril in 2020 after a long experience as a chef, subchef and 5-star hotel chef.
